We had such a great day Saturday celebrating Evan's Birthday. We took him to the paleontology museum in the morning and we had a friend come with us and this is pretty much what they did the majority of the time (except for when they found stairs and had fun going up and down)....
We did get one picture of him. They have fake life size dino's that the kids can touch, but Evan wasn't as interested in them as he would have been if they had skin, but then that would be scary.
We later took him to a place called hang time. It's just a place with a ton of trampolines and he loves to jump, so Greg was real excited about taking him!
When we were getting ready to go I asked him if he was ready he whimpered a little and said, "no"
Much to my dismay Greg wanted to throw him in the foam pit, but Evan wouldn't stop asking him to, so he did and he LOVED it and asked to do it over and over again.
Greg is awesome at those claw machines and won Evan another little toy. When we got it out of the machine Evan said, " whoa! Cool!" It's the ugliest little purple duck thing I have ever seen... |
Later that night we had two couples come over who are really good friends of ours and Greg's mom is in town so she came over and we had cake and Ice Cream. I am so thankful for our good friends they are seriously like family to us and they made his birthday more fun than it would have been with just Greg and I watching Evan do his birthday cake and present deal. We love them and we will miss them so much! If you ask this boy how old he is he says, "I two!"
We could have given him a spoon but I knew this would happen anyway... |
Evan has started picking his nose...
He was real excited about his new cars pj's. I wish we would have caught his inital reaction when he realized what he opened, but he went to fast and we weren't ready with the camera.
Stay tuned for an Easter post :o)
